From | From its inception, New Germania was primarily focused on conquest and rapid expansion. It held a high value for a technologically superior military through various means, either by developing technology themselves or trading for it. As time went on these expansionist views gradually died down, considerably so after the dissolution of the first NG group. In the latter half of its life, the group was mainly focused on power through diplomacy, aside from strength in military might. Near the end of 2020, it even employed an entirely automated military.

The government at the time was autocratic, and preyed on the view of 'subhumans' (namely furries) to further it's goals maliciously. These old fashioned views died out with the first group, and the latter groups were far more open minded as the group became more politically savvy. The Bundesrepublik officially apologizes for these former views, and continues to maintain a view of equality and cooperation with all peoples.
Following even more changes in policy, New Germania effectively became a multi-community based faction with multiple colonies/dominions in various gaming communities not affiliated with one another. This octopus-like approach prevents New Germania from being subject to the sudden collapse of a community, or from experiencing burnout. Zuthar13, a popular YouTuber at the time, had gained the attention of New Germania. In an attempt to gain notoriety, and for something to do, they declared war on the YouTuber himself, and began operations to thwart his minging on various servers. These operations often put NG men up against Zuthar's rabid fans, leading to large scale firefights and entire servers being thrown into chaos. The exact ending of the conflict is not remembered, but it is believed to have been a Germanian victory.

Not too long after the first conflict, Zuthar13 announced that he had created his own darkrp server. Deciding to play with fire once more, New Germania set out to establish itself and conquer said server. This conflict had huge ramifications for the young nation, as it not only had to protect territory for the first time, but it also had to fight essentially guerilla fighters on a near daily basis. The conflict took a lot out of New Germania, bringing it to the brink once more. Facing destruction in this costly conflict, New Germania finally put its first tenant to good use, strength in technology. They built their first proper armored fighting vehicle, named the Panzerkampfen 1. The vehicle, at the time, was considered a great revolution in technology, as it could safely transport men, and worked as a great tool of intimidation and recruitment. | Not too long after the first conflict, Zuthar13 announced that he had created his own darkrp server. It was confident, modestly armed and prepared for the challenges ahead, or so it believed. This year has New Germania encountering others like itself, other clans existing in Gmod. The first group NG had encountered was the [https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CSUNC CSUNC], and by extension the [https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Wojtek-Pact Wojtek pact]. In NG history, this is considered the moment New Germania officially entered the Old Meta. This new discovery shocked NG, despite it coming from a clan in its past, it did not expect to meet others who formed under similar circumstances. This new existential threat had kicked the group's survival instincts into overdrive, as it sought far more technology and manpower than ever before. It began to cannibalize other steam groups, adding them to its territory through diplomatic pressure or force. This behavior led to several minor scale wars, each just slightly larger than the last, all of them leading up to the largest wars anyone had ever seen at the time; the Novoslav Wars.

This war was a purely diplomatic crisis for Germania, as their old enemy, Nazi Germany, had come back and was attempting to incite an insurrection within New Germania. Once the problem was found, it was quickly crushed, and the conflict was resolved. It is counted as a war, but a more realistic name for it would be a diplomatic crisis. | This war was a purely diplomatic crisis for Germania, as their old enemy, Nazi Germany, had come back and was attempting to incite an insurrection within New Germania. However, a crisis began, where Uberhannover claimed that the CSUNC had attacked them, deliberately targeting their civilians in the process. New Germania did not buy this story, despite their requests for help. Relations were already starting to deteriorate after some diplomatic and social tension, and attempting to deceive NG had been the tipping point. New Germania declared war on Uberhannover on April 25, 2016, at 4:31PM, and sought to finally re-annex them into their empire. There were several engagements with Uberhannover, all resulting in Germanian victories. The war was seemingly won, until the first Novoslav War had been declared. This conflict resulted in Hannover's continued survival for another month, until its eventual capitulation and annexation on May 23, 2016, at 8:01PM.{{Eg|image1=4000_screenshots_20161023182455_1.jpg|row1=The first battle for Dirtbox was particularly bloody during the first Novoslav conflict, but it quickly quieted down when NG occupied it.}}

On June | On June 2, 2016, at 4:23PM, a group known as [https://steamcommunity.com/groups/12516126 New Poland] voted to be annex by New Germania. The legitimacy of the vote is still hotly debated, but its widely believed it was rigged by New Germania. The group was transferred over to New Germanian hands, but this did not sit well with the Wojtek pact, especially the CSUNC. FNP was considered their brother in arms, and the circumstances of the annexation enraged them.

During the fighting, New Germania was worried about the war, and attempted to end it by evacuating New Poland, resulting in its independence. The Wojtek pact decried victory, but continued to fight New Germania on a near daily basis. By the next day, New Germania had fully mobilized, and the second battle of Snyde was a major victory for Germania with a stark contrast in the K:D ratios. This conflict is also the first time ACF had ever been used in a fight, when Izakia attempted an invasion of a Germanian server known as LW sandbox. There were many many undocumented skirmishes in the months following the declaration of war on multiple servers, but over time, the fighting slowed down, until an unofficial truce was finally called, and the fighting had ended. No official peace treaty had ever been signed, and tensions were still high, but the First Novoslav War had come to an end in its own way.<gallery>

Following the first Novoslav war came a lengthy cold war, where heated words and pieces of propaganda were exchanged, but no action was taken yet. Both sides were on a hair trigger, waiting for one side to do something wrong so a war could kick off, and that day finally came. FNP, now independent, was trying to revamp itself by kicking several inactive members. New Germania jumped at this opportunity, calling it a 'genocide' and decrying it as a war crime, declared war on the 16th of August, 2016. New Germania's allies of UMU and ABMC joined in, and CSUNC's allies of the Vichy state and Izakia joined as well. The conflict was not as bloody or as long as the first war, but saw even more use of ACF for fighting. Like before, the war slowly died down, and groups like UMU dropped out, even turning against NG due to the lack of action. Eventually, New Germania, and Elias, decided to take a step back, as nothing was happening. CSUNC considered it a victory at the time, but New Germania returned not too long after taking a break, ready to resume business as usual. | Following the first Novoslav war came a lengthy cold war, where heated words and pieces of propaganda were exchanged, but no action was taken yet. On July | On July 10, a local conflict on Super between the [[Anti-Cringe Association|Anti Cringe Association]] and a small uprising headed by an ex-CTF member named Kiwi escalated when the [[United Super Defense Force]], which has now been absorbed into the larger IA Remnant, jumped on the bandwagon against ACA. With the Anti-Cringe Association being a close ally of New Germania in the Europa Union, NG commissioned the aid of Ghost Company to better prepare ACA for the conflict. Though the conflict initially started as a local issue, it escalated further when USDF forces violated New Germanian territory and attacked a local outpost constructed on Super Sandbox. This brought New Germania into the war, from there the rest of the Europa Union would jump in on ACA's side, heavily stacking the odds against IA. Ultimately proving to be a futile effort, their conquest of super resulted in heavy casualties for them, and moderate casualties on the side of the Europa Union. The conflict ended on July 25, when DooMSlayer, a mod on Super and a key ally to the IA remnant, attempted to take bribes while being a moderator. He has since been demoted, and the IA remnant was handed a hefty banwave, essentially securing Super and ending the Superian War with an EU victory.

As of August | As of August 24, 2021, the conflict has only seen two official skirmishes. One in which an ACA scouting party was quickly dismantled on the Boneyard, with NG/GC suffering 0 casualties and ACA suffering 10. The second engagement was a mix of CGI and rogue elements attempting to challenge NG air superiority, which resulted in even more GA casualties and no NG/GC losses. Unfortunately, GA has gone dark almost entirely since their last defeat, seemingly succumbing to inactivity. With GA's defeat, this conflict is widely considered a success.

August | August 31: New Germania officially enters the conflict on the side of Orzel, declaring war against the Imperial Alliance.
September | September 9: IA attacks an NG armored unit in the middle of training, inflicting casualties to the new recruits while the officers repelled the enemy. The fight was 2v5, and ended with the casualties being slightly higher on IA's side. The battle was previously considered a defeat, up until IA's actions after the battle. IA, thoroughly frustrated by ATGMs specifically (which NG had employed in the fight), ranted and raved about it in the Daktank official discord. Their intense reaction, followed by a closer review of the new data received, resulted in the battle being considered a victory for NG, narrowly.
September | September 10: New Germania, along with forces from CTF and NRK, assaulted IA's capital server of Colorful Crew in an operation dubbed 'Dust Devil' by NG forces. Casualties on IA's side were in the double digits, while the coalition forces sustained little to no losses. This battle, and the subsequent occupation connected to Dust Devil, is considered a major strategic victory for Germania and her allies.
September | September 11: New Germanian forces, with expeditionary forces from Ghost Company, completely fill the server of Colorful Crew and occupy it. New Germania would make propaganda of this move, where IA was helpless to defend their capital.
September | September 12: A small skirmish is had with IA forces on the Daktank official server. The spat was small, with IA taking four casualties and NG taking 2 in a 2v1 in IA's favor. The conflict ended with IA's commander being banned from the server, and his ally leaving voluntarily. This is considered a victory due to its outcome.
September | September 18: On New Germania's 6 year anniversary, an invasion of Colorful crew was held. Unable to halt our aggression, Colorful was taken with zero resistance, and more propaganda/drills were held in the captured territory.
September | September 19: IA forces engaged a NG garrison on Colorful Crew at around 2:00 PM EST. It was a 5v5 fight, with IA deploying 60pt MBT's and a 60pt emplacement on a punji stick from GA. NG deployed two 30pt APC's, a 20-point artillery vehicle and one 60pt MBT. Despite the odds, NG inflicted more casualties upon the enemy than we took losses. The enemy attempted to take the unfair high ground, spammed props to absorb shots from us, and spawned behind us. After we killed 7 of them, and they killed 4 NG members.
September | September 22: IA forces engaged Orzel-NG forces on Colorful Crew. The fight was 5v5 on buttes. IA initially got the upper hand with lag and numbers, but NG soon employed the new MRAS system against them, and their vehicles fell left and right. They soon attempted to use equipment that was against Daktank rules, which resulted in us using our Eurofighter program against them. They fell swiftly, but not before voting to change the map to flatgrass. Once there, the same situation occurred, with them initially getting the upper hand, until we took to the skybox. The ceiling was low enough to decapitate their giraffe tanks, and we once more had the upper hand. IA lost more points than us, far more points, thus ending the fight with an Orzel-NG victory. The battle has officially been dubbed Operation 'Oscar'.<br />

With the nether highway not under official construction yet, and needing a proper way to maintain its colonies and relations with the Spawn town, New Germania established the Cheems Trade Route. In the midst of the war against YSR on July | In the midst of the war against YSR on July 18, a server known as '''Theater of Operations''' became known to Germania-KATO forces, as it was host to a faction known as the '''Greater Prussian Kingdom'''. With GPK revealing itself to be hostile towards NG/KATO following a brief battle on June 24, in which GPK forces were decimated in a 7v1 against Germania, NG/KATO forces invaded and conducted a long attritional campaign against the server to root out GPK. The locals, backed by GPK and later YSR, formed into a new alliance known as the '''United Alliance Task Force'''. Made up of various randoms and clans such as GPK and '''NMPD''', this alliance rose to oppose the attacking forces. Despite their efforts, however, UATF was consistently defeated throughout the summer skirmishes, eventually resulting in YSR completely breaking off from UATF due to unknown reasons, however it is speculated that there was already existent tension due to the continuous defeat. As of August, various members of UATF have since abandoned Theater of Operations, including an admin who was on UATF's side. With their resistance dying down almost completely, the server is considered occupied and successfully terraformed, just as Valen has been.<gallery>

New Germania is the name of a series of factions ranging from the years 2015 to the present. The first faction was just named New Germania, and was started originally in 2015 by its founder, Elias.
From its inception, New Germania was primarily focused on conquest and rapid expansion.
New Germania in terms of politics, had also started out with an aggressive authoritarian government to go with its expansionist views.
This practice continues to this day.

It is also important to say that this faction is purely for gaming, and has never been associated with right wing or nazi content, as that is reprehensible.

History
2014-2015
The group's origins can be traced back to when Elias was first introduced to the idea of clans by a darkRP clan known as the Combine Units United. The group did little more than form gangs on DarkRP servers and make money, as well as Pac3 creations, but it was this experience that gave Elias the idea to make his own, as well as giving him his name, which he came up with during his time in the faction.
New Germania began as a very small steam group, numbering in less than 10, but quickly grew to swell as more people were invited. The earliest recorded conflicts at this time were that of The Great War, and the Z wars. These conflicts shaped Germanian doctrine, and introduced two important things to them that changed them permanently; strength in technology, and strength in numbers.
The Great War
Very little is remembered of this war, despite its title. What is known is that it took a lot out of New Germania, and nearly collapsed it altogether while it was weak. The original combatants are long forgotten, but it is hypothesized that it may have even been with old members of the Combine Units United. Unfortunately, the details are seemingly forever lost.
The First Z War
The First Z War was a war greater than the conflict that had come before it.
The Second Z War
Template:Image with Caption Not too long after the first conflict, Zuthar13 announced that he had created his own darkrp server. The conflict would last for an entire summer, before coming to an end with the waning days of the server. This war is considered to be a loss for Germania, as it's drain in resources and time far outweighed the technological advancements and experience gained from it.
2016
Template:Eg Entering the new year, New Germania had three wars worth of experience under its belt, and a new pool of recruits from its conflicts. It was confident, modestly armed and prepared for the challenges ahead, or so it believed. This year has New Germania encountering others like itself, other clans existing in Gmod. The first group NG had encountered was the CSUNC, and by extension the Wojtek pact.
The Nazi Germany War
New Germania was set on expanding regardless of who they had to annex, and one of the first groups to resist this forceful annexation was a group called 'Nazi Germany'. The conflict is poorly documented, and ended in a victory for New Germania after one battle and diplomatic pressure.
The Thirty Minute War
This conflict, like the Nazi Germany War, was a conflict to resist annexation by New Germania. The original opposition is not remembered, but what is remembered is the quick nature of this war, hence the name. There was no battle, just words exchanged in a chatroom. Many of these tiny conflicts are poorly documented, the real documentation comes as they expand and snowball into clan on clan engagements.
The War against Three Heroes
Another war over territory, the War of the Three Heroes is technically classified as a Civil War, as one of the leaders of the opposition was a former Germanian. The conflict lasted approximately a week, and was fought outside of gmod, primarily on a game called Wargame, European Escalation. The war ended with the Three Heroes coalition disbanding,
and New Germania only having gained experience and no territory from the engagement.
The War against TGE/Second TGE War
The TGE war was smaller than it's predecessor. It consisted of small 2v2's on gm_fork. Much of the battle for Germania was defensive, as The Galactic Empire, the aggressors, tried to push against their expansionism with their own. The first engagement lasted a couple of hours, with multiple pushes by TGE being repelled by very basic wire turrets and artillery bombardments. During the conflict, a mutual enemy of TGE came to Germania's aid, known as SHG. Their presence helped push the enemy out and win the first war, as well as the second, which was essentially a repeat of the first.

War against Nazi Germany V2
This war was a purely diplomatic crisis for Germania, as their old enemy, Nazi Germany, had come back and was attempting to incite an insurrection within New Germania. Once the problem was found, it was quickly crushed, and the conflict was resolved. It is counted as a war, but a more realistic name for it would be a diplomatic crisis.
The Hannover Crisis/War
The first proper war of 2016 resulted from a civil war within New Germania. A former Zweifuhrer (NG's equivalent of vice chancellor), after losing his reelection, had called the election fraud, and broke off to form his own group known as Uberhannover. Relations between Uberhannover and New Germania were initially friendly, as they saw one another as kin. Together, NG and Uberhannover even fought a proxy war with a micronation known as Ischrylos, and vowing to protect Uberhannover from attack by the communist nation of CSUNC. However, a crisis began, where Uberhannover claimed that the CSUNC had attacked them, deliberately targeting their civilians in the process. New Germania did not buy this story, despite their requests for help. Relations were already starting to deteriorate after some diplomatic and social tension, and attempting to deceive NG had been the tipping point. New Germania declared war on Uberhannover on April 25, 2016, at 4:31PM, and sought to finally re-annex them into their empire. There were several engagements with Uberhannover, all resulting in Germanian victories. The war was seemingly won, until the first Novoslav War had been declared. This conflict resulted in Hannover's continued survival for another month, until its eventual capitulation and annexation on May 23, 2016, at 8:01PM.Template:Eg
The First Novoslav War
On June 2, 2016, at 4:23PM, a group known as New Poland voted to be annex by New Germania.
"What's the worst thing Germany has done?
Existing" ~Bonkaholic, 06/02/2016
This was stated during CSUNC's planning phase for the war, amidst other fiery words declaring their hatred for Germania.
For five days, they planned with their allies for a war with New Germania, for the liberation of New Poland. On June 7, 2016, the Wojtek pact called New Germania to a meeting on the server known as Snyde, where they suddenly shot the ambassadors in an act of war. New Germania was caught off guard, but retaliated using their armored corp to even the sudden numbers disadvantage. The resulting first battle of Snyde was extremely bloody, with over a hundred deaths in less than two hours of fighting.
"its kind of insane that the most i remember about that fight was just wire turret spam
it kind of underscores the demand that ACF filled for combat" ~Strayed, 2020
At the time, Strayed was in the RFAI MBT 'Defender', and the first battle of Snyde was RFAI's first ever encounter with the Panzerkracker, one of the most essential weapons of that time. the Panzerkracker had wiped out entire squadrons and tank units with its powerful weaponry and speed, and was used heavily during the first battle.
No official peace treaty had ever been signed, and tensions were still high, but the First Novoslav War had come to an end in its own way.

The Second Novoslav War
Template:Eg Following the first Novoslav war came a lengthy cold war, where heated words and pieces of propaganda were exchanged, but no action was taken yet.
On the 31st of December, NG, CSUNC and Izakia formally met on Dirtbox and signed a proper treaty, as well as a couple more treaties to ease tensions properly.
2017
Template:Eg 2017 was the waning days of the first Germanian group, as well as the Old Meta in general. Germania had taken to being less aggressive, and as a result began shedding colonies in large amounts, drastically reducing in size. Their Mongolian Empire-esque policies did not survive to the new year, and neither did the group, as it officially dissolved later that year. 2017 was a relatively quiet year, with no major wars, or even minor ones. The one major event for Germania of this year was the Ares Union, one of many failed attempts to create a global organization for the meta.
The Ares Union
The Ares Union was a pact of various groups with the intent of pushing forward global legislation to regulate wars. New Germania originally was not privy to this group, until their ally of ABMC had informed them of its existence. New Germania joined, but found that the pact was severely corrupt, a staple of meta organizations. Seeing this, ABMC and NG conspired together to bring the pact down from the inside, spreading around information of rigged votes and weakening confidence in the organization, it eventually came crumbling down. Remnants of the pact still exist, like a public map people can still download to this day. The workshop page is here.
The IZK-FMC war
Template:Eg During 2017, New Germania had been a lot more active in international politics. One such example being the FMC-IZK conflict. During this conflict, New Germania sent expeditionary forces to assist Izakia in their fight against the Federal Military Corporation. Though the impact was not major, it did help Izakia win a few engagements when Germanian tanks fought on the fields.
Dissolution
Germania had not gone out with a bang, but had done so quietly. On an unremembered day, the main group was deleted by Elias, as he disappeared from the Meta for about a year. A lot of information was lost with its dissolution, and a lot of history, but it was for the best.
2018
After a long hiatus, Elias slowly returned to Gmod during the month of January. This was the time where ISA was beginning to foul up the community, and the ripple effect could certainly be felt. Though the process was initially arduous, New Germania came back in a smaller, more modest form, known as the Germanian Kaiserreich. Revamped with new, neutral policies, and with no 'subhuman' ideology anymore, NGKR was prepared to step back into the community, but was met with opposition. Many of the old clans from NG's days were gone, leaving behind members of the old clans who made their own groups, and who certainly remembered fighting and dying to Germanian weapons in the wars of the Old Meta. This fresh start NGKR craved, was not going to be fresh. NGKR, in its first month of life, was already hit with a war, but it had years of experience on its side. Using this strife, NGKR attained triumph, and boldly stepped into the new year with confidence.
The FOXCBM-NGKR War
One of the first groups to despite NGKR was a faction known as FOXCBM, and their ally of SDF. They vehemently opposed Germania, and immediately attacked. NGKR was a little out of practice, so played the initial stages with caution, taking their time to make connections and gather data. They made new allies with factions known as RSMF and Cat-Gopher Industries, working with them to figure out their enemy's weaknesses, then finally strike. The first battle of the war was a slaughter. FOXCBM/SDF, despite their bravado, were woefully underequipped with outdated weaponry. Their light helicopters were shot down by jet fighters, and their tanks were blown to bits with superior firepower. Despite this, they continued with the war, refusing to accept defeat every time it was given to them, even stooping as low as spreading false rumors to try and destroy credibility. No matter what they did, they were beaten. Through this war, NGKR had formed a close bond with C.G.I. and RSMF, eventually creating a new alliance, known as GMAP.

Garry's Mod Alliance Pact
GMAP, or known as the Garry's Mod Alliance Pact, brought together various small nations to form a large block of its own, in the age of the ISA-IZK cold war, GMAP was a power to be reckoned with. With over 20 member states, the alliance had secured itself against attacks from the two major powers at the time. When conflicts did arise, the groups banded together and defended one another, forming a large coalition with C.G.I., NGKR and RSMF at the forefront.
GMAP-CTF War
Following the dissolution of ISA's colonial holdings, there was a power vacuum left. At the time, the GMAP council decided it would be wise to divvy out these colonies, or if a solution could not be reached, leave them be. CTF, a member state at the time, disagreed entirely, and attempted to take all of the colonies, citing that the leader of the ISA said in an offhand conversation that they could have them. This argument continued to heat up, until the first shots were fired after a GMAP garrison was bombed by CTF aircraft. The war was not very long, but it did show the amazing combined arms prowess of GMAP. With great numbers and strategy, CTF was overwhelmed, and eventually fled the scene, joining up with FOXCBM and SDF, who were now attempting a new strategy to fight GMAP with their own pact; the Eagle Initiative.

The GMAP-EI War
Following CTF's defection, EI officially opened hostilities once more with GMAP, attempting a surprise attack while we were fighting CTF. Unfortunately, they had not improved, and fell into the same loop of engaging and losing, until they stuck to yelling across the fence with no might to back it up. With this war soundly handled, things returned to peace. Unfortunately, during the war, some emergency powers for the council were procured, and NGKR wanted to relinquish them. C.G.I. disagreed, and RSMF was neutral. This debate heated up, but instead of a war, GMAP split open, and the ensuing panic dissolved the alliance. With ISA's death later on, groups were once more confident to exist on their own, and the age of large alliances fizzled out momentarily. This marks the end of the Second Generation of the Meta.
2019
The year of ISA's collapse. This year is fairly sparse, as the meta began to evaporate at this stage due to the black mark ISA had left on everything. There is not much else to say on 2019, unfortunately.
The Deathican War
Briefly at the beginning of the year, a group known as the Deathicans had risen up on an undiscovered server. They were fully fascist German roleplayers, and as a result, naturally clashed with Germania. On the justification of crushing their ways, Germania went to war with them along with the independent nations of Kakestania and Sovinia. The Deathicans didn't put up much of a fight, and soon after collapsed due to one of their members fully doxxing the leader in the midst of a schism, forcing him to leave gmod.

The European Coalition
Template:Eg As a consequence of ISA's fall, it's power vacuum was swiftly swallowed up by Izakia, who became a new tyrannical force. People began to miss the old GMAP days, and over time, three groups banded together in the face of Izakia. Kakestania, Sovinia, and Germania. They formed together into a tripartite pact called EUC, and stood up to Izakia and fought them on various occasions. Things were evenly matched, and eventually Izakia backed off. With Izakia backing off, however, NRK decided to backstab the EUC pact, and took Sovin to make their own pact known as Orzel. Germania remained steadfast, and continued moving onwards with the times, observing as pacts rose and fell from time to time, and nothing major changed. Over time an Ares Union replacement was made, known as G10. G10, going into the new year, would prove to be a disaster like it's predecessor.
World War III
A conflict primarily fought between the powers of TEC, the predecessor to IA, NATO and the Petrograd Pact, New Germania played an independent role in the conflict. Butting heads with both sides and working with either on occasion, Germania entered the conflict on the side of TEC initially. However, they would later change this stance due to the behavior and actions of TEC, now becoming hostile towards them. During this stage of the war, NGKR had begun to field its first prototypes for AI vehicles and aircraft, which had done well to bolster its numbers. With swarm tactics, Germania took the fight to Izakia and invaded dirtbox, landing several serious blows against the Izakians and their allies in UNR. However, once the conflict had evolved, Germania shifted its focus onto fighting TEC on the front lines with those very same AI armies. As the war dragged on, eventually NATO would completely abandon the game, and Izakia would start its decline in losing interest in gmod. The war had left a sour taste in most people's mouths due to TEC's actions in making battles inherently personal and unfun.

2020
The waning days of the Third Generation of the Meta. By this point, alliances were shifting around, Izakia was losing interest in Gmod after WW3, and groups were evaporating at a steady pace. G10 was having various issues with the evolution of TEC known as IA, which has proven to be the worst group in Gmod history. At this stage, Germania had abandoned the entire concept of manned armies, and moved forward with a doctrine of AI armies. Things continued to slow down more and more, until the Meta bubble popped. G10 disbanded, every last group save for IA evaporated, and NGKR officially ceased all operations on Garry's mod in December 2020, or so it thought.

2021
Early into 2021, it was shown that New Germania would not be retiring any time soon. The meta had received much attention after the release of a video highlighting this wiki, and activity was bustling. New Germania reactivated itself once more, and began to expand and engage in diplomacy again. Soon enough into its reactivation, a world war kicked off.
World War IV
A conflict started by the Imperial Alliance after they doxxed a person and raided their college discord, WWIV was a war between every existent faction against the Orzel alliance. With every major engagement ending in a GMAP+Allies victory, the war was very one sided from the beginning. Orzel held on for dear life as their discord was infiltrated and made public, their behavior was held under high scrutiny, their home server was shut down, it all went to hell for them.
New Germania was a critical component of World War IV, fighting in almost every battle and seeing action on every major front of the conflict. New Germania fought in the battles of Colorful Crew, Valen Sandbox, FGC, Super Sandbox, The Boneyard, and lastly the Daktank servers.
The Magellanic War
A conflict that has yet to start, this war is between New Germania, Kinetic Assault Initiative and the Magellanic pact. New Germania and KAI are fighting the Magellanic pact in a friendly conflict, with good sportsmanship and fair play being actively discussed until the fighting inevitably begins soon.
As of July 3, 2021, the Magellanic pact has yet to act, meaning the war is essentially won by New Germania. KAI dissolved a few weeks back due to other issues, meaning this war ended before it could start.
The Europa Union
On the 5th of June, New Germania met with the Greater Prussian Republic and the Valkyrian Ascendancy to discuss a new alliance, NG came to their Concord of Protection with new ideas, hoping to mix ideas used in the old Ares Union from the first era. This alliance would come to be known as the Europa Union, and would quickly grow to encompass more than the three original founders, who now make up the security council in the structure of the military and political alliance.

On July 10, a local conflict on Super between the Anti Cringe Association and a small uprising headed by an ex-CTF member named Kiwi escalated when the United Super Defense Force, which has now been absorbed into the larger IA Remnant, jumped on the bandwagon against ACA.
The war of G6's Downfall
Template:Eg After G6 sent NG to fight their war against IA, only to plan a backstab against them, on top of that declaring Elias' mother being put in the hospital as a sign of 'victory', NG had enough. Making temporary amends with IA, the two officially opened hostilities with G6, starting with NG making all G6 military information public. G6 called this 'doxxing', and had NG removed from the Faction Hub discord.
As of August 24, 2021, the conflict has only seen two official skirmishes.
Investment into Sprocket
On the 26th of August, the eagerly anticipated game of Sprocket was released. On the day of its release, NG was quick to hop aboard the early access game and begin development. NG is the first gmod faction to have purchased it and begun work, on top of being the first gmod faction to create a video about the game.
The IA/Orzel Conflict
Following internal strife within the IA remnant, a consequence of ww4, a schism took place dividing the old members and the new. The old members were lead by Sergei of NRK, and the new members were lead by Junebug. Following this harsh divide, war was declared. Seeing an opportunity, Germania got involved and sided with the Orzel faction, against Junebug's IA. Since the schism, a few engagements have occurred.
August 31: New Germania officially enters the conflict on the side of Orzel, declaring war against the Imperial Alliance.
September 9: IA attacks an NG armored unit in the middle of training, inflicting casualties to the new recruits while the officers repelled the enemy.
September 10: New Germania, along with forces from CTF and NRK, assaulted IA's capital server of Colorful Crew in an operation dubbed 'Dust Devil' by NG forces. Casualties on IA's side were in the double digits, while the coalition forces sustained little to no losses. This battle, and the subsequent occupation connected to Dust Devil, is considered a major strategic victory for Germania and her allies.
September 11: New Germanian forces, with expeditionary forces from Ghost Company, completely fill the server of Colorful Crew and occupy it. New Germania would make propaganda of this move, where IA was helpless to defend their capital.
September 12: A small skirmish is had with IA forces on the Daktank official server. The spat was small, with IA taking four casualties and NG taking 2 in a 2v1 in IA's favor. The conflict ended with IA's commander being banned from the server, and his ally leaving voluntarily. This is considered a victory due to its outcome.
September 18: On New Germania's 6 year anniversary, an invasion of Colorful crew was held. Unable to halt our aggression, Colorful was taken with zero resistance, and more propaganda/drills were held in the captured territory.
September 19: IA forces engaged a NG garrison on Colorful Crew at around 2:00 PM EST.
September 22: IA forces engaged Orzel-NG forces on Colorful Crew. The battle has officially been dubbed Operation 'Oscar'.
As of September 19, the Grand Alliance has officially sided with IA in the Civil War, dropping the reason why GA formed in the first place.
Leaving the Meta (again)
With the meta continuing its cycle of rising, stooping to new lows and falling, New Germania took what it had learned and adapted. Instead of returning to dormancy, Germania had branched out into other games, diversifying its assets and ultimately growing as a result. While the meta collapsed once more behind them, Germania flourished in these new games and communities it had found itself.
2022
As they continued in to the new year, New Germania took on a new type of system that had not been tried before. Previously, all other clans had remained centralized within a single community, leaving them vulnerable to the failure against said community, as exemplified with the collapses of the old metas. This problem was successfully negated by New Germania's decision to take part in multiple communities with similar, yet separate, identities. It helped NG bring in new resources and manpower to the market when it quickly jumped from game to game, and have its own wars in said games.
The Taming of VR-Chat
One of New Germania's many community excursions included the widely popular and free game VRchat in January. In this community, New Germania moved with its members to various combat sim games to get some experience, as well as try out its realism in general. This was a very entertaining process, with vivid combat situations and a sense of rejuvenation with this new age of gameplay. New Germania continues to partake in squad based, VR combat, as the taming of VRchat continues to this day.
Excursions into Space Engineers
Another one of Germania's exploits amidst the various clan communities of the internet included the popular survival sandbox game of Space Engineers. With the new combat update, as well as various mods, Germania went from public server to public server, establishing dominions and colonies as well as making a name for themselves within entirely separate communities. Germania formed alliances with iconic factions known as the Eagle Corporation, the Galactic Teutons, and various other factions scattered among the cosmos. Germania is currently engaged in an anti-piracy operation within a few of these servers, fighting the well known AI space pirates that many groups find to be a hassle. This has won NG much recognition and popularity.
Minecraft
New Germania has had many excursions into Minecraft in the past few years, from a brief experiment on Stonecutter before dropping it due to corruption, to exploring various public servers. Currently Germania operates on the Sandbox Network primarily, and has established itself as an economic and military powerhouse in the rather rural dominated server community.
The Cheems Trade route
Template:Eg With the nether highway not under official construction yet, and needing a proper way to maintain its colonies and relations with the Spawn town, New Germania established the Cheems Trade Route. Made up of several rivers linked up via a series of canals, the route allows for a single boat to pass from spawn straight to the Hurtgen lake where the capital lies, while also allowing it to visit the various NG owned settlements along the route itself. This has allowed Germania to sufficiently expand its influence and accumulate wealth from the trade going in and out of the route.
Garry's Mod Excursions
While Garry's Mod has not been New Germania's primary focus, it has been keeping tabs on the old meta community. It has witnessed the fall of GA, the coalition against TTN, World War 5, as well as many other notable events ongoing. It has chosen to not partake for most of these, however it has sent small expeditionary forces to observe the TTN conflict, with the express intent of acting as a neutral party.

2023
With the commencement of the 2023 Summer Wars in Garry's mod, the now rebranded Bundesrepublik Germania was keen to join in on the battles. The Garry's Mod branch was reactivated, and new equipment was constructed for the occasion.
The 2023 Summer Wars
On June 15, the recently reformed Bundesrepublik was invited to assist the forces of KATO in a battle against the forces of Yakugiria on the server Biden's Hair. Germania supported KATO ground forces with airmobile equipment in the form of utility and attack helicopters, to great success against the YSR air and ground forces. Following this battle, Germania and KATO unofficially began working together to fight YSR and its allies through the summer wars.
The YSR Engagements
Making up the bulk of the conflicts throughout the summer, NG and KATO forces fought the forces of YSR on various servers, engaging them on the ground and in the air. YSR forces have sustained very heavy casualties, with the losses on both sides being documented heavily through the use of continuous recording software. Throughout each engagement from the 15th all the way into August, Germania and KATO have continually racked up positive K:D's against Yakugirian and SPRGA forces. The conflict has made notable use of combined arms tactics and effective communication, with the intention of avoiding the brutal slugfights of the interim ACF years. With effective coordination, skill and technology, YSR and SPRGA forces were first driven from the server of Biden's Hair, and later on driven from the server of Valen officially following the August 9th skirmish.
The UATF Conflict
In the midst of the war against YSR on July 18, a server known as Theater of Operations became known to Germania-KATO forces, as it was host to a faction known as the Greater Prussian Kingdom. With GPK revealing itself to be hostile towards NG/KATO following a brief battle on June 24, in which GPK forces were decimated in a 7v1 against Germania, NG/KATO forces invaded and conducted a long attritional campaign against the server to root out GPK. The locals, backed by GPK and later YSR, formed into a new alliance known as the United Alliance Task Force. Made up of various randoms and clans such as GPK and NMPD, this alliance rose to oppose the attacking forces. With their resistance dying down almost completely, the server is considered occupied and successfully terraformed, just as Valen has been.
The Second Treaty of Valen
Template:Eg On August 30, 2023, Crisis of YSR and Elias of Germania met together within the new faction hub known as J10. Accompanied by Jeskov of UATF, the trio discussed the summer wars and their inevitable result, which was a treaty. At 11:11 PM EST, Yakuguria and Germania formally signed a treaty ending the conflict, while a less formal treaty was signed with UATF, with Jeskov himself acting as an ambassador on behalf of Germania due to his skills.
Uniforms and Equipment
Uniforms (2016-2020)
The most common form of uniform was the dod_german playermodel with no modifications. This 'uniform' has been used since its inception, as its been the easiest way to identify one another, with some customization in the model allowed. Later on into the Old Meta era, the first pac3 was made for special units within NG, and in the New Meta era pac3 uniforms became more common, and with more variety.Template:Eg
Ubersoldat Uniform (2016)
The 'Ubersoldat' uniform was the name given to a pac made in 2016 for Elite troops. It was originally planned to be given to every soldier, but this idea was found to be impractical due to the flaws of the uniform. The uniform was camouflaged, and added a radio, gas mask, trench coat and officer's cap. The pac increased the size of the soldier to nearly 7 feet tall, an imposing stature on the battlefield, but it also made the wearer a larger target. This, compiled with the fear of the uniform falling into enemy hands, resulting in it not being used in great numbers, and only being worn by the most trusted of elite troops for ceremonial purposes.
GKR Infantry (2018)
Template:EgOriginally made around the time of GMAP, the uniform was originally intended to distinguish NGKR infantry from the standard GMAP infantry. The uniform offered more variety in terms of usability, without making the soldier more vulnerable to enemy fire. With the uniform came a ballistic vest with crotch plate, a body cam, a custom obj helmet, an antenna, a helmet mounted flashlight, an armband and a badge. The flashlight came with the ability to provide more illumination than the standard source flashlight. After the standard variant came the desert and winter variants. The desert variant offered a shemgah for facial protection, with digital desert camo to boot. The winter variant came with a trenchcoat and a snow textured body for camouflage. Overall the uniform did not see much service, as this was the time when infantry were being phased out of wars as vehicles became far more common on the battlefield. Nonetheless, it was often worn when in battle.
V3 Uniform (2020)
With the new year came a new uniform to replace the old. It was essentially an enhanced duplicate of the old, with a new polished model of the ballistic vest, and other amenities that helped modernize the concept of infantry. The old helmet, badge and bodycam were carried over from the old model, but this new model moved the radio to the back, reducing the height of the infantry's silhouette by shortening the antenna. Like the previous model, this one came with a desert uniform and winter uniform, offering the same bonuses as the previous uniform, but also had a new Forest camouflage. The forest variant came with shrubbery and bushes attached to the uniform, along with a grass green color to it. This would be the last uniform made by GKR before it's retirement in December 2020.
Uniforms of the Republic (2023)
With the evolution into multiple games and general advancement of technology, multiple types of uniforms were adopted to suit each game. There were technical limitations with certain games, however two notably allowed Germania to finalize its official uniform. These two official uniforms come from the games of Arma 3 and Garry's mod, which are staples of Germania's activities to this day.
With the focus on quality over quantity, each infantryman is equipped with 210 rounds for their main weapon, that being the G36a3 assault rifle. As a secondary, they are offered the choice of the Mp7a1 or 1911. On top of this, each infantryman is equipped with medical gear to treat themselves and/or others, as well as a formidable amount of grenades. With the shift towards quality, each infantryman is given a great amount of firepower, including fragmentation and concussion grenades, and chiefly several varieties of the Panzerfaust 3 AT/Support launcher.
Along with this standard rifleman's loadout come several variations to fit the needs of a complete army. The various loadouts include:
- Grenadiers (Heavy/Light)
- Autorifleman (Heavy/Light)
- Marksman (Heavy/Light)
- Combat Engineers
- AT Carriers (Recoilless/ATGM)
- Pilots and Tank Crew
- Military Police
All of these notably come with three camouflage variations; the standard Flecktarn, desert Troppentarn and winter white for a variety of combat scenarios.

Firearms
New Germania has used a vast array of firearms to supplement their infantry forces, either through miscellaneous weapons mods or through the construction of ACF handhelds. These weapons were cheap to produce, and in the case of ACF handhelds, highly mobile artillery platforms. They played a critical role in many Old Meta battles, before things began to be switched over to vehicle only combat.
XM8 (CW 2.0)
Template:EgThe XM-8 was the first standard issue rifle for New Germania. Part of the Unofficial Extra Customizable Weaponry pack, it offered a wide variety of customization to fit almost any situation. New Germania named this the standard issue rifle for this reason, and created various preset modifications for use on the battlefield, including close quarters, mid range and long range combat. This standardization made logistics a breeze, as one caliber of ammunition and only one gun was easy to manage and use. One of the main drawbacks of this rifle was it's les than stellar performance in long range combat, which was easily outclassed by dedicated long ranged rifles. Often to offset this, soldiers spawned in dedicated sniper rifles, instead of using the XM-8. Nonetheless, the XM-8 proved to be an incredibly versatile rifle, and saw service in every Gmod conflict NG had taken part in, up until infantry on infantry combat had taken a backseat to ACF combat.
SPG-10 Abre Alas
Template:EgThe SPG 10 was one of the first ACF handhelds given to New Germania by their ally, the New Rhodesian Republic. It was a 80mm caliber mortar, firing a HEAT shell at a firing rate of approximately 60 rounds per minute. It was disposable, quick to spawn, and cheap to produce, thus making it a handy supplement for infantry to deal with light vehicles. It's service life as short, as a longer range anti tank weapon was soon procured, but it is still used as an export to this day.
Panzerschreck II
Template:EgThe Panzerschreck II was another export from NRR, but this time using the mod 'ACF Missiles', which is a pack of smart munitions, rockets, bombs and missiles. New Germania was new to this concept, but was one of the first to widely adopt it by implementing the Panzerschreck II into its infantry forces. This weapon utilizes a BGM HEAT missile with a basic aim guidance system. It had a moderately effective penetration of 300mm, and helped infantry handle light and medium vehicles. The Panzerschreck II is public at this point, but it is still used due to its cheap and effective nature.
Flammenwerfer 41
Template:EgThe Flammenwerfer was a domestically produced flamethrower using ACF technology during the GKR-FOXCBM war. It had a fairly long reload rate, but had a high rate of fire, and it's flame effect worked even underwater. The napalm it shot out burned for almost half a minute, and was deadly to anyone who wasn't constantly healing themselves, making it a serious threat when coupled with standard infantry. It saw little service, but it's mere existence was enough for the enemy to shudder.
Kiyoko HAW6R1
The Kiyoko was a late 2018 export to NGKR by NRR. It was the strongest handheld weapon at that time, with a seriously powerful punch that count knock out MBT's with just one hit. It had a slow reload, but once fired, the rocket would travel at great speeds and penetrate almost 800mm of armor. The weapon saw extensive service during the EUC-IZK war, where it knocked out several Izakian tanks, and continued to see service in wars afterwards. The weapon still serves today, but is not given out as an export due to its strength.
Flammenwerfer 54
The Flammenwerfer 54 was a late 2019 iteration of the Flammenwerfer 41, with an improved fire rate and protection for the user. It was noted that flammenwerfer users were often targeted more often due to their weapon, so a combat shield was added to give the user protection against small arms fire, while also allowing them to see the enemy. It functions the same as the 41, and saw little actual combat service, but was still a terrifying weapon.
Armored Fighting Vehicles
New Germania has a hugely extensive history in regards to their armored vehicles. From nearly day one, they invested heavily into their panzer corp, developing state of the art vehicles that trounced other clans. For the years and years that NG existed, more and more vehicles were developed, until there were nearly hundreds of unique individual vehicles. There are far too many to list, so a handy 'tech tree' has been made to show notable vehicles that served with Germania.
-
The vehicle also notably saw service as an interim export. More details here: https://the-rfai.fandom.com/wiki/Cougar_VII_MBT_Ausf_C2
-
A lot of vehicles were exempt from this list, only influential tanks in the history of NG were included.
Aircraft
New Germania's use of aircraft dates back all the way to a pair of exports given to the mostly ground-focused empire by some allies. It took a whole year for Germania to get domestic production of aircraft going, but once it did, it leaned heavily into this department. Complimenting its strong armored force came fighters, CAS, helicopters, drones, bombers, gunships and many other miscellaneous types of air vehicles. Germanian air power has had a significant impact on the meta ever since the Luftwaffe's initial conceivement, and continues to have major impacts as it expands into new horizons.
Non-Garry's Mod Related Equipment
Sprocket
Sprocket was a relatively new game compared to most of the games NG bases on, however Germania was quick to jump aboard upon its official release. Once the game was released, research and development started as soon as possible, and effective pieces of military hardware were already manufactured for combat.
Luchs 1a-
One of the first vehicles to be developed was the Luchs light reconnaissance vehicle. With sloped, light armor and a powerful cannon, the Luchs was designed to blitz through the various scenarios that Sprocket had put forth. This vehicle would inevitably be the first to mount the powerful Stahlkorper 119, a large and long-caliber cannon designed to be the strongest in the game. With an effective weight of 41 tons, this vehicle was capable of being deployed in pairs, making it a deadly source of firepower.
NG32 "Diamondback"
Designed to be a step down from the Luchs series, the 'Diamondback' is an equally deadly vehicle. With a carefully curated weight of 33 tons, its capable of being deployed in groups of 3, making it arguably more deadly than the Luchs. However, weight reductions were made in places, in order to retain the deadly Stahlkorper 119. Overall, this vehicle is considered a 'miniaturized' Luchs line, designed to better field more firepower in a similarly strong package.
Cougar 21a-
The Cougar line, named after the old wiremod MBT from 2017 that New Germania fielded in the Novoslav wars, is the premier line of main battle tanks for Sprocket. Carrying that powerful Stahlkorper 119, and later the improved Stahlkorper 120–100, it boasts an impressive power-weight ratio, as well as armor strong enough to take point blank hits from the game's Tiger II. With a weight of only 59 tons, it was capable of coming out in pairs in the later scenarios, making it an unstoppable vehicle that took no casualties in any scenario. It would become a hot testbed for new tech, such as the aforementioned Stahlkorper 120–100, a new means of suspension for gun stabilization, and even rudimentary ERA using bolted plates and later fuel tanks. With its powerful mix of firepower, mobility and armor, it currently remains unchallenged as the strongest clan related MBT without file editing.

The Cougar 21a5, the latest iteration of the line.
-
The Cougar 21a4Z, an experimental ERA variation of the vehicle.
Space Engineers
Being an iconic survival-sandbox game, Space Engineers has allowed Germania to construct a variety of impressive weapons for use in warfare or basic utility. There is no shortage of diversity in Germania's arsenal, as with each new community visited, ultimately an entirely new vehicle is designed, however its principal of standardization remains true with various highly refined machines of war.
