Tank generations classify the major technology leaps in the development of tanks in Garry's Mod. This classification system is still being developed but can be viewed as follows:
1st Generation: Vanilla-Only
2nd Generation: Wiremod
3rd Generation: Pew-Pew / Early ACF
4th Generation: Advanced ACF
