Gmod Soldiers was a proto-faction founded in 2008 by Oddball. Though mostly a military simulation group running scripted scenarios in Garry's Mod, they served as inspiration for factions like RFAI.

Strayed reached out to Oddball around 2015 to propose an alliance but recalls the steam message saying he was no longer interested in "clan stuff"
