ABMC, officially the AB Militia Corps is a militia faction in the Sandbox Region of the game. Considered to be among the oldest groups in the game they have seen combat for over four years. Led by BlubberyOyster4 and S0mebody10.
History
Early Foundation
During the Second Summer War around August 5th, 2015 a small group would be founded by two brothers with the intent of making a name for themselves among the other developing nations at the time. Originally calling themselves "Andy and Bryan's Manufacturing Company," as this name reflected the group's early intentions.
Second Summer War
After a couple of weeks making weapons to export to smaller, lesser-known groups, the ABMC amassed a small militia which it used to aid the RFAI in it's Anti-Minge operations during the Second Summer War. At this point the ABMC changed it's name to "Andy and Bryan's Militia Corps," making its militia a primary goal and trading with other groups a secondary priority.
RFAI - ABMC War
After serving alongside the RFAI in “Operation Second Sun”, the group would accidentally involve itself in attempted coup of the RF leader, the RFAI promptly acted and declared war on December 13th, 2015 against a scrambling ABMC. After numerous failed attempts to fight back, the ABMC leadership would develop a laughable reputation that would forever scar the group. At this time, the ABMC experienced internal disputes that lead to a temporary split in the group, one sided backed by the RFAI and other that wished to keep fighting, not wanting their first war to be a loss.
UberHannover War
Following the end of RFAI-ABMC war, a faction calling itself UberHannover declared war on the CSUNC for supposed ideological differences. This marked one of the earliest wide scale hostile incursions into Sandbox from DarkRP and UberHannover's fighting strength was unknown. Seeing an opportunity to mend the rift between the ABMC and the faction community at large, BlubberyOyster4 made contact with the leader of UberHannover, supplying fake war plans, defective weaponry, and fully ascertaining their member count and ability so a full report could be made to the CSUNC and RFAI as a sign of good faith. This early attempt at espionage and Intel gathering was a cornerstone of ABMC's military restructuring and provided a much needed renewal of public relations.
UberHannover would be swiftly driven from the Meta after a series of no-show battles where CSUNC awaited their arrival, while according to ABMC intelligence, UberHannover forces would never appear as they were simply a role-playing group. Unironically instead of UberHannover troops, the CSUNC would encounter another outfit of German-themed soldiers belonging to New Germania, an unknown faction lead by Furher Elias Schild who was looking to settle a score with Kaiser Moltke of UberHannover.
Ares Union Riots and Scandal
After establishing more trade with New Germania for tanks as well as shared weapons development and improving relations with the RFAI, diplomats from the RFAI and the Ares Combat Command (ACC) would extend an invitation to the ABMC to join their alliance and security pact called the "Ares Union". ABMC would send troopers to the ACC's home server of Bill's Sandbox, but would discover the majority of the server was openly anti-faction despite the reassurances of the server owner who welcomed all factions. The days leading up to the next AU summit meeting was filled with anti-faction sentiments, though ABMC forces were spared most of it as Troopers were ordered to stand down and not reciprocate the hostility, which warranted much respect from server regulars. The situation would take a turn only a couple of days before the summit when the RFAI leader, Strayed approached ABMC with concerns about New Germania's established presence in the Meta and discussed at length war plans against the still unknown adversarial empire. While ABMC would agree to help the RFAI in a military operation to force New Germania off of the mutual RFAI-ABMC home server of Snyde.net, a Steam error would reveal a preemptively made war poster which alerted both New Germania as well as the delegates of the Ares Union. The president of the Ares Union and leader of the ACC, Mark, would charge ABMC for unauthorized used of Article 5 while anti-ABMC elements of the RFAI would deny all involvement and use ABMC as a scapegoat, a private kangaroo court would be held in an underground bunker hidden from public knowledge. Despite being the target of the war plans, Elias Schild defended the ABMC against the charges knowing that the RFAI would be more likely to be preparing for war against his empire, but because of a lack of evidence for RFAI's involvement and ABMC's still soured reputation, ABMC was charged for wrongfully invoking Article 5.
When the AU summit meeting was finally held, the first matter was a vote for ABMC to be immediately suspended from the Ares Union in which the notion would be immediately passed. BlubberyOyster4 would excuse himself from the summit hall expressing his feelings about the unfortunate outcome, but was allowed to roam the halls of the Ares Union offices in which he leisurely smashed out all the windows, he wouldn't be kicked from the private server until he crashed through the skylight of the summit hall which disrupted the meeting and caused panic amongst all the delegates in attendance. After being expelled from the AU, ABMC and NG would collaborate to investigate the practices of the Ares Union as well as their strict imposed restrictions on their member groups and their forced presence on Bill's Sandbox despite the outcry of the server populace. BlubberyOyster4 would encourage the most vocal personalities of the anti-faction sentiment to focus their protest and hostility directly towards the president of the Ares Union rather than the groups caught up in it's red tape, meanwhile Elias Schild talked to the leadership of multiple AU members about the myriad of impossible laws and expectations placed upon them.
