Independent Karelian Republic

The Independent Karelian Republic (often abbreviated as IKR, or KR), initially founded as Shitpostistan in July 9, 2018, then reformed into the Independent Karelian Republic some during February 2018, is a nation in Sandbox that has seen many wars come and go, with a small history to come with it.

Its history has seen it come under a different name but nearly the same composition.

History is split into 2 eras: Shitposti Era, and the Karelian Era.

Shitposti Era

The "Shitposti" or "Shitpostistan" era was when the three current heads of state, decided to obtain some level of ownership over Trumps Hair from the Inner Sphere Alliance, originally as a near puppet of ISA, but soon was allowed its own Independence. The flags origins also leads here, as originally a modified RFAI flag it soon changed into something different. This ownership of Trumps Hair, which will be labelled as "The Occupation" lasted throughout the entire Shitposti Era, and even slightly into the Karelian Era.

Start of The Occupation

Trumps Hair was allowed to be controlled by the Shitpostistan State by the Inner Sphere Alliance, during the Sandbox Continental War, and after becoming an independent state, was luckily able to not be hit by the Trumps Hair ISA Banwave, since they were separated from ISA. The initial headquarters was the "fuckoff flag base" name because of the massive flag above the twin towers, so you can "see your oppressors from spawn". Many insurgencies would spawn during this era, however these insurgencies would only have basic public dupes. This garnered many victories for the Shitposti State, and gave the members of the state more urban warfare experience, and more or less prepared them for what was to come.

The Occupation

The Shitposti State was able to obtain supremacy over the other players for many months fighting against many randoms who would attempt to destroy the various bases the State had created. However, eventually some of the staff and their friends (GalvazimGX, Henry the Red, and at times Captain Slotsky) would become the usual group of people Shitpostistan would fight. This state lasted throughout all of the Shitposti States history from this point until the End of The Insurgency.
