Cat-Gopher Industries

Cat-Gopher Industries (C.G.I.) was founded by CatGopher98 on the server Under the Crosshairs (UTX). C.G.I. is known for its high member count and well-trained infantry, but fell short in domestic technology and relied on allies' exports. It is generally a friendly faction, making numerous connections and only targeting groups that were harmful towards other players. Notably, most of the wars C.G.I. participated in resulted in victories, and some resulted in peace.

History

First UTX War (August - Late 2016)

A player's interpretation of the power Derpy-Canadian had

C.G.I. was founded on the Garry's Mod server called Under the Crosshairs (UTX). The Brotherhood of Steel was the first faction they fought. It was a dictatorship made up of a group of staff who oppressed players by using their powers led by Derpy-Canadian, who was an admin at the time. CatGopher98 tried fighting back, and people started to join his cause. They decided to make an official faction called Cat-Gopher Industries (C.G.I.). Though they had more people steadily joining, it seemed like a lost cause since most of the Brotherhood of Steel members had admin powers. Eventually, they found out that the 405th Clone Trooper Legion (405th), a branch of The Grand Army of The Galactic Republic (GGR), was also fighting the Brotherhood of Steel.[1] C.G.I. formed their first alliance with the 405th, who they went on multiple joint operations with. Despite all odds, they were able to hit the Brotherhood of Steel hard enough that they surrendered.

Second UTX War (November 2016 - May 2017)

A.D.F. propaganda with blood splattered over it

The Brotherhood of Steel merged into the Admin Defense Force/Armoda Defensive Favonian (A.D.F.).[2] With many of the same members and goals, it was a war waiting to happen. After C.G.I. was engaged in a battle with A.D.F., C.G.I. declared war.[3] During this war, many new minor factions arose on UTX. The Republic of Users was initially a group that allied with C.G.I. but betrayed them in a surprise attack. Another group was the fbi of under the crosshairs, which wanted to destroy both C.G.I. and A.D.F. at once[4] but failed once C.G.I. forces crushed them. The 405th also played a role in assisting C.G.I. and its allies. Though much bigger, skilled, and technologically advanced than before, this war looked like another losing battle since A.D.F. still had staff powers. However, due to a successful spy campaign against them and the introduction of the faction frontiers (T.F.F), A.D.F. was put into a weakened state. At first, members of A.D.F. left to create their own group called P.H.A.N.T.O.M., which sought to rebel against the faction from which they came.[5][6] Furthermore, C.G.I. and A.D.F. agreed to a temporary peace treaty to fight T.F.F[7] since it was a terrorist faction getting out of hand.[8] Considering the corruption and instability of A.D.F., this caused them to die out and form a new, friendly faction called Amnach Valkaria (AV), rendering C.G.I. victorious once again.[9]

Post-UTX War (May - August 2017)

An MG79 Hound

This was a time of new, rising factions, some of which tried to go to war with the now dominating C.G.I. faction on the server. Although C.G.I. technically was introduced to ACF, they would never do much with it until they expanded to different servers. During this time, the server owner shut down the server forever with no prior warning. Luckily, Octo, a staff member, unofficially rebooted Under the Crosshairs (UTC).[10] At this point, the spy campaign on T.F.F had come to an end, with everyone but two remaining members of T.F.F defecting from it.[11] This caused T.F.F to finally surrender to C.G.I., ending all hostilities that started during the Second UTX War.

Although the new factions had potential, they all fell into obscurity or were defeated. For example, Technological Extravegent and Constantly Hostile (T.E.C.H.) was a seemingly powerful terrorist faction that claimed to possess of powerful technology. They offered to ally with C.G.I. to fight P.H.A.N.T.O.M. and AV. However, this would mean that C.G.I. would have to betray two of its allies, which would not be tolerable. This caused C.G.I. to start using physiological warfare on T.E.C.H. by pretending to accept their offer. C.G.I. would then warn their real allies about the new threat. However, due to lack of activity, they never went to war with C.G.I. and died out.

The other most notable faction during this time was the Brute Force Squad (B.F.S.). This faction was created solely to go to war with C.G.I. and cause trouble. Though their leader put up a good fight, they were ultimately defeated, thus ending the C.G.I. - B.F.S. War. During a battle between C.G.I. and B.F.S., a small skirmish is had between C.G.I. and a new faction, Mercenary Group 79 (MG79). Different reports contradict each other, most saying that MG79 fired upon C.G.I. members first, and one saying that C.G.I. fired first. There is no documentation of MG79 after this incident. Although these minor conflicts were fought, nothing extremely significant happened to affect C.G.I.'s growth.

Involvement in ACF (August - October 2017)

C.G.I. and K.S. going on a joint operation

No major wars were fought in this period on C.G.I.’s part. Although they got dragged into a war between RFAI and IZK, which would be considered a huge deal, they barely participated in it and chose to pursue peace instead.[12][13] The most important part of this time was C.G.I.’s first real experience with ACF. Engineers began working on new technology and weaponry that would potentially be used in future wars. C.G.I. also got introduced to the world stage and many new and powerful factions. They would later on form alliances, which would be crucial for future events.

ISA War (October - December 2017)

ISA using ACF aircraft to slaughter people at spawn

This is the hardest-fought war in which C.G.I. was involved. Mainly fought on unfamiliar territory, Trump's Hair, C.G.I. struggled much in this war. ISA was one of the most technologically advanced groups at the time, and C.G.I. initially went toe to toe with them. Although C.G.I. lost battle after battle (and won a few major ones), allies with more powerful technology assisted them. The conflict turned into a big deal across GMod as the most powerful factions were clashing against each other. However, it seemed like allied intervention wouldn't be enough to stop ISA, as they had powerful technology and skilled members. However, several events like ISA being banned for rule breaking and internal conflicts resulted in a surprising downfall of ISA. Again, C.G.I. won another war facing insurmountable odds. However, this time it seemed to be because of luck since C.G.I. wasn't aware of ISA's instability.

Steam Group Incident (October 2017 - January 2018)

On October 14, Nuklearburrito joined C.G.I. as an assault soldier. He didn't do much until December 31, where he was somehow able to delete all of C.G.I.'s announcements in its Steam group. It was seen as a huge breach of privacy and trust, which is why he was kicked from it the next day. On January 13, 2018, CatGopher98 announced that action would be taken against Nuklearburrito. A war was fought between C.G.I. and Nuklearburrito's faction, though any specifics of this were not documented. The effects of the original incident are apparent today, as much information was in the form of the announcements that were deleted long ago. A substantial amount of C.G.I. history was lost because of this.

SCI War (January - June 2018)

The C.G.I. and Coalition leaders go toe to toe in a vehicle chase

Though not a challenging enemy, the Coalition, made up of SDF, FOXCBM, KAX, and Militia, was stubborn, controversial, and refused to accept their losses due to raging disputes with C.G.I. This was a war where C.G.I. had the upper hand in numbers, being able to overwhelm Coalition forces on some occasions. In the late summer of 2018, the ULSCI was banned from the SCI servers.[14][15] Coalition forces had no choice but to land on UTC, C.G.I.'s home server. They managed to hold it for a while before C.G.I. and the Guardians of UTC noticed and were able to successfully defend against this invasion.[16] Along with more allied intervention and internal conflicts, the Coalition was unable to recover. Because of this, C.G.I. offered peace at the end, thus ending the war.[17][18]

Peacekeeper Revolt (March 2018)

During the SCI War, the Coalition was losing the war, so they made a peace offering to C.G.I. on March 6, 2018. A vote was held in C.G.I. on whether to accept the offering or not. Though the majority of the members decided to continue the war, two members were angered by the results, claiming that their voices were being silenced. These members were Draggy~ and Puffin The Muffin, who were both officers and peacekeepers at the time. They made their own split group called The Peacekeepers and tried to convince other C.G.I. members to join them. However, they were promptly kicked from the C.G.I. Discord server, CatGopher98 making any members in The Peacekeepers Discord server KOS. Additionally, bounties were made, targeting Draggy~ and Puffin. The Peacekeepers Discord server was also raided by IZK, RFAS, and NUF, which greatly demoralized them and ultimately caused them to disband. The bounty on Puffin was eventually lifted, and he was let back in on August 14, 2018, at the beginning of the EI - GMAP War. Though Draggy~ didn't get the same treatment, she and CatGopher98 privately made amends in 2020.

Post-SCI War (June - July 2018)

Further information: Coalition Civil War, C.G.I. - FTL War, and C.G.I. - Coalition War

A destroyed FOXCBM tank during the Coalition Civil War

Due to the Coalition's instability, immediately after the SCI War ended, FOX declared war on SDF following a collapse of communications and extreme tensions[19] An unlikely bond was formed between C.G.I. and SDF, and C.G.I. agreed to assist them in defeating FOX in what would be known as the Coalition Civil War.[20] After a few minor battles, SDF and FOX agreed to peace. After this, besides a few skirmishes with terrorists, the only other actual faction C.G.I. went against was FTL.[21] However, the C.G.I. - FTL War was a minor war that was won in just eight days.[22] C.G.I. went on to find more allies, and CatGopher98's coalition, Garry's Mod Alliance Pact (GMAP), began to gain traction. This would set the stage for the next war as SDF and FOXCBM declared war on C.G.I. yet again in the C.G.I. - Coalition War.[23][24]

EI - GMAP War (July - November 2018)

A major air battle being fought

Although many factions were involved in the ISA war, this war seemed to have the most groups involved by far. This is the war where C.G.I. started to fall behind in technology and marked the beginning of the end for them. Luckily, they had allies and were the major power in GMAP since it was founded by CatGopher98. This enabled C.G.I. to have access to powerful technology, courtesy of member states and allies. Though the EI member states were also getting more advanced in technology, the outcome seemed similar to the previous, since GMAP was winning battle after battle. However, Elias, known for being manipulative in the community, started to spread lies about CatGopher98 and took advantage of his power. This resulted in GMAP and EI working together to put a stop to Elias.[25]

Post-EI - GMAP War & Hibernation (Late 2018 - Late 2019)

C.G.I. could not rely on its allies and GMAP for much longer. They lacked knowledge in ACF, which was one of the significant factors of their downfall. Furthermore, their leader disappeared without prior notice, leaving them without a source of leadership or direction. Eventually, C.G.I. faded into obscurity and rarely participated in world affairs until GMAP was reformed around a year later.

Revival & Task Force 141 (Late 2019 - Present)g

Map of GMAP member state territories on USG, with C.G.I.'s claims at the bottom

Originally called the C.G.I. Task Force, Task Force 141 is a small group under C.G.I. that is named after the one in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy. The task force is made up of old C.G.I. members and has a similar structure to the overarching group with changes to make it more simplistic. However, it would not see any action until much later. Much time would pass until GMAP was revived. Some of the old members, including C.G.I., stayed in the alliance. They even went so far as to claim and split up territory in the US Gaming server. Shortly after, the Orzel Republics, another alliance, declared war on GMAP, with C.G.I. being involved. Despite this, battles were rarely fought, and the two coalitions had little to no interaction with each other. However, Orzeł disbanded, leaving C.G.I. and the rest of GMAP victorious. Although C.G.I. as a whole remains relatively dormant, Task Force 141 has begun to operate on a new wave of SCI imitation servers, which it has successfully claimed. Unfortunately, the servers have lost activity over time. Now, while many old C.G.I. members join the ranks of the task force, it waits for new opportunities to arise.

World War IV (April - August 2021)

GMAP forces display their flags after defeating Orzel on FGC

After hearing about the Imperial Alliance (IA) and ULSCI's treatment of the 1-47 Union (1-47), C.G.I. talked to a variety of other factions and began conspiring against 1-47's attackers. They also heard that ACA was being attacked by the same factions, so the C.G.I. and CTF leaders also contacted ACA about supporting them against an invasion. Tensions began to rise as ULSCI found out that C.G.I. was spying and IA members were sending cryptic messages in the faction hub Discord server. The situation hit the boiling point when the Kakestania (NRK) leader, Sergei, was involved in raiding CatGopher98's college Discord server with offensive remarks and revealing his state to the hub. This caused many factions, mainly GMAP member states and FGC-based factions, to declare war on IA and its allies. It was later revealed that IA and its allied were all part of Orzeł. Many GMAP-aligned factions promptly went on the offensive, invading Colurful Crew, while the rest, including C.G.I., focused their efforts on defending their home servers from attacks. The fighting of the war has died down, with the majority of victories belonging to the GMAP-aligned forces. Most of Orzel has become inactive or given up on the war and moved to DakTank. Peace was officially declared by both sides on August 1, leaving no victors.

Six-Gate Controversy (July 2021)

Six of Nine, leader of the Orovian Republic (OR) and Obsidian Order (OO) was speculated to be the same person as Mathias. Many factions, including C.G.I., investigated this and quickly confirmed this. Due to the distrust of Six after trying to make a fake identity, he was ordered to make OR and OO under GMAP administration. Additionally, as CatGopher98 was the elected Head of State for both of these factions, he and Six agreed to make them into subsidiary factions under C.G.I., forming the United Orion Coalition (UOC) along with it to keep communication close. However, the UOC would quickly be disbanded and upon OR's reformation into New Byzantium, the partnership was dropped.

Room Temperature War (August - November 2021)

With World War IV being over, Elias made amends with Orzel and was ready to leave the meta. He made a public statement about his departure and also claimed that his mother was in the hospital. Before this, there was a plan by member states of the Grand 6 to backstab NG. Elias discovered this, and decided to go to war with GA with the help of Orzel. Elias went on to leak the GA and SGR Discord servers in the Garry's Mod Faction Hub. Due to the GA server having personal information in it, he was removed from the Faction Hub server. He also used his mother's illness to claim a victory despite his claims that he had left the meta, which angered many members of the community. C.G.I. had a personal vendetta against Elias for the actions he had committed in 2018. However, they weren't involved much in active combat. Instead, they planted moles within NG, relaying information back to their allies. During the war, Orzel split into two different alliances, one aligning with GMAP and GA and the other supporting NG. Eventually, a video was released that exposed Elias of the many malicious things he has done to the community. This caused Elias to finally leave Garry's Mod, ending the Room Temperature War with a win for GMAP, GA, and what is now recognized as the true Orzel Republics.

Disbandment (November 2021)

Ever since the community's revival in the summer of 2021, there have been many new factions. CatGopher98 having more real-life obligations, he trusted the new factions to fulfill C.G.I.'s purpose. After Elias was defeated and ousted by the community, CatGopher98 received closure for Elias' betrayal to GMAP during the EI - GMAP War. On November 11, he decided to leave the community and disband C.G.I. for good, as he believed that C.G.I. had made a lasting impact in Garry's Mod. C.G.I.'s influence is still apparent as GMAP and GA would merge into the Grand Garry's Mod Alliance (GGMA). Former C.G.I. members who wanted to continue their duties but didn't want to join other factions were designated as GGMA soldiers. This is similar to how there were GMAP soldiers who weren't part of any faction.

One Hour War (February 2022)

GPSE's declaration of war

After 4 year since Nuklearburrito's deletion of the C.G.I. Steam group's announcements, he returned to Garry's Mod. GGMA's Security Council and CatGopher98 saw his sudden return as suspicious and began monitoring his actions. He immediately made contact with xenoscoot and joined ACA. He tried to overthrow scoot as the leader, which the members condemned. However, Nuklear claimed that he was joking. He also joined the Greater Kingdom of Prussia, where he had an idea to merge many factions together, forming the Greater Prusso-Scandinavian Empire (GPSE). These sudden actions with no clear motive concerned the GGMA Security Council, and negotiations involving GGMA, GPSE, and CatGopher98 began. These talks would end disastrously as Nuklear would go on to blame others for his actions from the past and even deny that he ever attacked C.G.I. despite being shown clear evidence. Eventually, xenoscoot and I like Prussia negotiated peaceful terms, where Prussia said that he would demote Nuklear. Despite this, GPSE would vote on going to war with the newly reformed Valksdeutsch Ascendancy (VA), though due to poor wording, it seemed like he also declared war on ACA and C.G.I., even though the latter was still disbanded. This sudden declaration of war involving an old enemy spurred C.G.I. to temporarily be reinstated. ACA came to VA's aid, which GPSE did not expect. In less than an hour after the initial declaration of war, GPSE surrendered, which the three allied factions accepted. GPSE also demoted Nuklear, as per the original GGMA demands. C.G.I. plans on remaining active until Nuklear is no longer considered a threat.

Comedium Incursions (March 2022)

One of GPSE's members started a rebellion, which Nuklearburrito joined. This ultimate lead to Nuklear being exiled from GPSE. A few days later, he announced the existence of his alliance called The Comedium, with the goal of ending the Garry's Mod meta as a whole. He immediately declared war on GGMA and tried to invade Weedbox twice. The Comedium was small at the time, and was ultimately defeated both times by GGMA's superior defenses. The war came to a close when Nuklear became unwilling to invade or even fight again. Canadonia, the only participating Comedium member state, was also dissolved. With no one else to fight, GGMA was victorious.

GGMA - VE War (March 2022)

Sigma split off from the Norse Union (UNSR), creating the Viserbian Empire (VE) and started a conflict with the entirety of GGMA. They immediately tried to invade Weedbox but only one member participated in this attack. VE was met by overwhelming resistance from a few GGMA member states, including C.G.I., which ultimately resulted in a VE loss due to failing to control the server and the member getting banned due to breaking server rules. Because of losing their first battle, Sigma almost disbanded VE, but ultimately handed leadership off to Bishop822. Bishop, being a C.G.I. member, ended the war by making peace with GGMA and reformed VE into what is now known as Shotlite Industries.

The Intrepid Conflict (April 2022)

At this point in time, Maren has already made numerous factions while provoking GGMA. When faced with conflict, Maren would create new factions to avoid fighting. Seeing this pattern, GGMA started a vote to declare war on any subsequent factions Maren would make, with Intrepid AS being the latest one. Maren immediately disbanded Intrepid AS and surrendered to GGMA, with the conditions of dissolving any of their groups and being barred from creating further entities. They were also restricted from joining any factions that belong to Nuklearlemon.

The Jordevastation (April - May 2024)

After a hiatus of 2 years, C.G.I. decided to increase its activity. C.G.I. would create alliances with the United Alliance Task Force (UATF) and the Black Owls of Jhunal (BOJ). In the following weeks, tensions rose between them and the Independent Denersian Union (IDU). The war officially started when IDU decided to invade UATF's home server, Theater of Operations. C.G.I., UATF, BOJ, and another faction called SPEAR would be victorious in every battle until IDU conceded to invading the server. C.G.I. would decide to go on the offensive, joining the Democratic Republic of Scotland (DRS) in combat against IDU, who were also active on That Sandbox. With superior technology, allied forces would also win every battle there. The final battle occurred on the server that IDU owned, with C.G.I. forces invading them. However, after multiple instances of admin abuse by IDU, the battle was considered a victory. Allied forces would refuse to touch this server again due to instances of dupe stealing and admin abuse. IDU would rebrand into the Engineering Task Force (ETF) under the guise of the former being an entirely new faction. Since they were pushed out of all of their territories save for their own server and refused to fight anymore, GMAP declared victory over ETF, ending the war.

GMAP - TF27 War (June - June 2024)

The Jordevastation II (June - August 2024)

NPCZ Clash of Clans (August 2024)

When GMAP extended its reach to NPC Zombies Vs. Players (NPCZ), it was met with resistance by Hydra's Death Squad (HDS) and BlackWatchArmy (BWA). Much heavy fighting occurred, with GMAP and its allies winning key battles, leading to the disbandment of HDS and BWA's retreat from NPCZ. The war resulted in factions being more scrutinized by NPCZ staff, with a "Clan Ban Wave" being put in place by its owner. However, this didn't affect many people, and only one GMAP member was banned. Months after the end of the war, a document about BWA was made, exposing some of their high-profile members for actions such as pedophilia and doxxing. This resulted in Black and Narberal, the leader and a higher-up of BWA, respectively, being permanently banned from NPCZ.

Fourth Scantanian War (August - October 2024)

After UPSR leader Striver doxxed Jordi, GMAP would join the war against UPSR. Not many battles occurred, but GMAP and its allies were able to win every single one. Furthermore, UPSR forces, especially Striver, were caught cheating in most of these battles. UPSR would grow tired of this war until electing to avoid its enemies. Eventually, UPSR would leave the Meta, ending the war on in a win for GMAP and its allies.

The Great Nothing War (October 2024 - January 2025)

In this conflict, C.G.I. would primarily ... I'm too lazy to write this out

GMAP - BASTARD War (September 2024 - Ongoing)

The Great Nothing War (October 2024 - January 2025)

Chitose, on behalf of Bairi's Clan and Hotel Moscow, would target Larry, leader of the Democratic Republic of Scotland, in what would be a drawn-out war. GMAP and Koupii-Maybin International-aligned factions would fight against BC, HM, and many unaffiliated militants. In what little actual combat occurred, GMAP and KMI would win. Chitose would eventually pull out of the war, resulting in a GMAP-KMI victory.

CAF Revolt (October 2024)

Yuri made a new group called RUAF (Riley's United Army Forces?), and recruited some members from CAF to start a revolt against them. Several GMAP and KMI member states crushed the rebellion within a day, with RUAF surrendering and subsequently disbanding.

The Great Weight War (November 2024 - April 2025)

Several Petrograd Pact and Kestrel-Astria Treaty Organization member states attempted to invade Valen Sandbox and Theater of Operations, eventually assimilating into the Coalition. A joint GMAP-KXMI force successfully repelled the invaders from their territory.

GMAP - KA War (January 2025)

The Kingdom of Alus was planning to go to war with the Solar Imperium, so several GMAP member states went to war with KA, causing them to surrender after one battle.

Organization

Components

File:TF141 Emblem.png
The Task Force 141 emblem

The faction had four main components to it: the Army, D.T. Squad, Peacekeepers, and Task Force 141.

  • Army: Most of C.G.I. belonged to the army, as members would be trained as an army soldier by default.
  • D.T. Squad: This flexible team was handpicked by the commander, with a variety of skillsets to be able to go on many different missions.
  • Peacekeepers: There were few Peacekeeper Operatives, who would be specialized in general peacekeeping, military policing, and recruiting.
  • Task Force 141: Made up of C.G.I.'s most trustworthy soldiers, this task force was originally meant to be a secretive group that went on covert operations and dealt with psychological warfare. However, it became the entirety of C.G.I.'s forces as the overarching group was dormant.
  • Task Force 325: Similar to the Peacekeepers, Task Force 325 was made for peacekeeping and humanitarian operations on NPCZ.

Structure

C.G.I. followed the U.S. Army ranking system, with the exception of it being led by a commander. Officers also had lesser authority, though they had great influence in decision-making. Some officers were part of the D.T. Squad, who were the best among their respective classes and had command over them. People that were below officer ranks were considered normal members. Outside of participating in voting, they had no authority in the faction.

Divisions

Although C.G.I. primarily operated on Garry's Mod, it was also involved in a multitude of other games. There was a division for each game, and members who wanted to be involved in those games on behalf of C.G.I. would join its respective division. Here is a list of all of C.G.I.'s divisions:

  • Battlefield 1 Division
  • Counter Attack Division
  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive Division
  • Critical Ops Division
  • Fortnite Division
  • Garry's Mod Division
  • Heroes & Generals Division
  • Kill Shot Bravo Division
  • Of Guards and Thieves Division
  • PAYDAY 2 Division
  • Plazma Burst 2 Division
  • Rainbow Six Siege Division
  • ROBLOX Division
  • Space Engineers Division
  • Team Fortress 2 Division
  • Unturned Division
  • Warframe Division

Besides the Garry's Mod Division, the success of each division varied, with most of them being very inactive. Eventually, the Battlefield 1 Division and Counter Attack Division were disbanded due to inactivity. However, C.G.I. had a large presence in Plazma Burst 2 and Critical Ops. Members also played Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Roblox together frequently. Though there weren't divisions for these games, C.G.I. was also involved in Call of Duty: Heroes, Pixel Gun 3D, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Modern Combat 5: Blackout.

Classes

The majority of C.G.I.'s soldiers were trained to be one of five main combat classes: commando, sniper, engineer, scout, assault. There were also two non-combat classes: support and spy. Each class specialized in certain skillsets, which were used to complement each other during battle. New recruits had to choose classes that they liked, but were not bound to them. The D.T. Squad was made up of the best soldiers of each class, handpicked by the commander. Although they had standard-issue weapons, they were ultimately free to choose what to use.

Commando

These soldiers specialized in using heavy weaponry like machine guns and guided launchers to provide support for the rest of their team. They would man mounted turrets, be gunners on vehicles, and also carry extra ammunition supply if possible and provide them to teammates in need.

Primary Weapons: PKM, M60, MG 42, M249 Para, Ameli, Pulse Gun

Secondary Weapons: Resistance RPG, Redeemer

Backup Weapons: Raging Bull, M29 Satan

Sniper

Adept at using sniper rifles and marksman rifles, these soldiers were meant to take out targets with precision. Due to their accurate nature, they were also sometimes tasked to fly airplanes to engage in dogfights or close air support. They also carried compact submachine guns in the case that their positions were compromised so that they had a means of quickly retaliating. If they needed to stay in one place for a long time, they used anti-personnel landmines as a safeguard against enemies trying to infiltrate them.

Primary Weapons: PSG-1, Dragunov SVU, Barrett M82, AWM/AWP, scoped Lee–Enfield, long-barreled scoped M16A2

Secondary Weapons: MP9, MP7

Backup Weapons: Raging Bull, M29 Satan

Engineer

This class is the most diverse class, with soldiers being able to learn different skillsets within the class. Members could be demolitions & sabotage experts, builders, medics, and helicopter or hovercraft pilots. While working with much technology, engineers carried submachine guns and used rocket launchers to destroy opposing vehicles and equipment. They also carried a multitude of other equipment, such as breaching charges & C4s for sabotaging important objectives and to assist with breaching, medkits to heal themselves and allies, and turret parts to set them up on the fly.

Primary Weapons: Scorpion Evo 3, Peacekeeper

Secondary Weapons: RPG-7, Rocket Launcher

Backup Weapons: HK45C

Scout

This class was meant to be used situationally, due to the weapons they used having limited range. They were usually tasked with scouting out places of a map as their name suggests. They would also breach buildings, which would often be done with an engineer. However, up close, these shotgun and machine pistol-wielding scouts were swift and deadly, being able to scout out much territory on a map and clear rooms with ease, using frag and flash grenades to assist them. They also had the option of carrying infantry rifles so that they were combat effective outside of short-range.

Primary Weapons: Mossberg 500, Double-Barreled Shotgun, Combat Shotgun, Sawed-Off Remington 870

Secondary Weapons: Glock-18, Beretta 23R, Dual Enforcers

Assault

This class was the most versatile of all the other combat classes. It used infantry rifles that were effective for many ranges, making soldiers with this class invaluable to any battle. Some soldiers were trained in stealth in order to infiltrate enemy bases, acting similarly to scouts and spies on the battlefield. The effectiveness of this class also depended on the addon packs on a server, as rifles tended to outshine or were outshined by other weapons depending on the server.

Primary Weapons: XM8, HK416, AN-94, AK-47, M16A4

Secondary Weapons: P229R, Beretta M9
